Enjoy early stories of Canterbury's Ngai Tahu iwi and the earliest European settlers, and the positive things they achieved building the city of Christchurch together.

Description

This new experience to Christchurch of paddling a Maori waka on the Avon River, leaves from Margaret Mahy playground in the city centre. A 45-minute guided experience, visitors participate in paddling the waka and learn about Maori history in the Canterbury area.

Cancellations that are made 12 hours prior to a booking will not be charged. Cancellations or no shows within 1 hour of a booking will be charged 100% of the total cost of the booking.
