Built in the 1870s Twin Gullies is a fully renovated property nestled amongst 5 acres of gardens, pasture and bush. Just 10 minutes drive from Akaroa we offer self contained one and two bedroom accommodation with private bathrooms each with its own spectacular views of Akaroa Harbour. Guests can meander through the gardens, laze by the heated swimming pool whilst taking in the sea views. Alternatively you might like to spend time meeting and feeding our pet sheep or meet the relaxed girls who are supposed to be hard at work laying your breakfast eggs. In the evenings you may wish to play a little petanque or head off to the games room to try your hand at snooker and pool. You may choose to cook on the BBQ or try your hand at making your own pizza in our wood fired pizza oven which is conveniently located under the canopy of our walnut and fruit trees adjacent to the swimming pool.

Barn One is located on the ground floor of the building, and is fully self contained with two Queen Bedrooms. The accommodation has a private shower, toilet, and a living room. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, stove, sink & convection oven with seating for four at the dining table. This accommodation is adjacent to the quaint BBQ and Pizza oven area which is available for guest use at any time. Views from the master bedroom overlook the pool and the full length of Akaroa Harbour and its surrounding hillsides. Continental breakfast is included. Please note; Listing is based upon 2 people sharing the main bedroom. If you have 2 people in your party, and you would like to book two separate bedrooms there is an additional $70.00 charge .
Barn Two

Barn Two is on the first floor, comprising a Queen Room and second room with 2 Singles. There is a private shower and toilet. Included is coffee and tea making facilities, bar fridge and microwave. Barn Two is ideal for those who like dining out in the evenings. The guest BBQ and Pizza Oven area is located adjacent to the Barn building and is available for guest use at any time. The master bedroom offers spectacular views, overlooking the pool and the full length of Akaroa Harbour. The second bedroom has rural views over the adjacent farmland. Continental breakfast is included. Please note; Listing is based upon 2 people sharing the main bedroom. The Stable

The Stable is a detached building, comprising of two levels. On the ground floor there is a private bathroom, sitting area, kitchenette and private deck with views of Akaroa Harbour. The kitchenette features a bench top oven with hot plates, mini fridge, and coffee/tea making facilities. The bedroom is upstairs and offers spectacular views from your king size bed looking down Akaroa Harbour. The stable also has a balcony off the bedroom with rural farmland views. There is a short walk to the swimming pool and BBQ /pizza oven which is available for guests use at any time. Continental breakfast is included.
Where less than 7 days notice of cancellation is given full payment rice will be forfeited. Cancellation within 30 days 30% of full fee will be forfeited. Cancellation more than 30 days a $25.00 administration fee will apply.
