A focus on local and sustainable food, and one of the only cafes in Wellington to cater for a low FODMAP diet. Open for breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday, with sweet and savoury options.


Ti Kouka cafe was established by brothers Jesse Simpson and Shepherd Elliott in November 2010. Jesse takes care of the front of the house and makes the most delicious coffees and Shepherd runs the kitchen and makes tasty yummy food. We use local, sustainable and organic produce whenever possible. We use Red Rabbit coffee roasted locally by Steve Barrett and Zorganic’s milk and other dairy products. We also offer free range and organic eggs, chicken and pork. We believe that using the best ingredients gives our food and drinks an edge that you can taste. We also believe we have a responsibility to do what we can to make sure we can continue to have the standard of produce we enjoy now. We compost all our scraps, recycle everything we can and will continue to improve as we go.
