Southern Wanderer Scenic Cruises is a family business offering 2.5 hour sailing cruises from Akaroa exploring the amazing scenery and wildlife of Banks Peninsula. We cater for small numbers of guests, you can share an adventure and friendly conversation with our family crew. We genuinely love responding to your questions. Our sailing vessel enables us to explore Akaroa Harbour and take in the breath-taking sights of the extinct volcano in a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly way. Enjoy the sailing and non-invasive encounters with a unique range of wildlife during the journey. We also run private charters with 9 am cruise or flexible departure times, trip durations and itineraries. If your preference is to explore at another time of day with your own group of family, friends or colleagues that prefer a trip for themselves.
IMPORTANT: For safety reasons a basic understanding of English is mandatory for all passengers on our cruises.

SOUTHERN WANDERER'S CANCELLATION POLICY
If any trip you have booked is cancelled by us for any reason we will refund your payment in full.
If you cancel a booking for a cruise more than 48 hours before the planned departure time we will refund your payment in full. Payments for bookings for cruises that are cancelled within 48 hours of the planned departure time including no-shows will not be refunded.
