Come and explore beautiful Banks Peninsula this November, enjoying the spectacular landscapes that make it such a unique gem. Our guides will lead you on tracks, reserves and private land, sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience along the way. Hear their stories, meet new people and appreciate the ‘great outdoors’ as you go.
This year’s programme is expected to be as popular as ever with a great variety of walks to enjoy on Banks Peninsula. Join the continuing multi-year Kaitorete Spit challenge, take the family on the Omahu Bush Kid’s Nature Trail, or visit Le Bons Bays Langer Reserve and take your pooch along for ‘Grunts, Dykes and Dogs!’ Explore the western headland of Akaroa Harbour on Lands End Farm, learn about the military history at Godley Head, or explore the Packsaddle track at Little Port Cooper. The great variety of walks offers something for people of all ages, abilities and interests. Whether it be history and heritage, botany or geology – you can even have a go at whale spotting! There is something for everyone with a guarantee of beautiful views and scenery along the way.
