Originally known as Sea Kayaking Adventure Tours Anakiwa (SKATA), the business started from humble beginnings in the early 1990s with two Double Southern Lights and four Single Puffin sea kayaks under the ownership of Roger Reardon.
When new adventures beckoned in late 2000’s, Roger sold the business into the ownership of Steve and Juliet Gibbons. Juliet and Steve continued the companies commitment to the highest quality of kayak trip with safety paramount at all times.
Today SKATA is known as Sea Kayak Adventures with owners Aaron and Nat Price since 2013. While some things have changed over the years, the one thing Sea Kayak Adventures has always excelled in, is being able to give you one of the most magical experiences New Zealand has to offer.
The first thing you will notice when you come to Sea Kayak Adventures is Aaron and Nat’s enthusiasm and pride in their work, and the area they call home. Being a small, family run business, their attitude flows down through to the guides and all other aspects of the business. They strive to provide the safest and most enjoyable trip possible for every single customer.
Safety audited and a Department of Conservation concessionnaire, at Sea Kayak Adventures they make sure they are always up to and beyond all industry standards.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund will be given for cancellation due to weather conditions for sea kayaking. If you cancel within 24 hours of trip departure we will keep the 20% deposit. If you cancel more than 24 hours out we will refund you in full.
