Akaroa Wildlife combo

This package includes seeing the smallest penguins (white flippered penguins) and the world smallest dolphins (hector's dolphins).

You will join a 2 hour harbour cruise departing at 12.45pm to explore the volcanic scenery of Akaroa harbour. You have the chance of seeing hector's dolphins, seals, penguins, and all sorts of other birdlife.

Later in the day you will discover the world of the largest colony of little penguins on mainland New Zealand and help supporting 30+ years of conservation effort. The 3 hours evening penguin tour includes an amazing scenic drive with a 4WD minibus. The departure time of this tour varies throughout the year (winter earliest as 3pm and in summer latest by 7pm). Please call a few days in advance to find out the exact departure time.
Please note there may not be any penguins during late March and April.
